Darin Shaw




He has over 30 years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry and is a Certified Mould Maker. He has held various positions, including Tooling Engineer, several Toolroom Foreman positions, and Sr. Process Engineer for the local Manufacturing Industry. In 2018, he was appointed as the General Manager at RBJ Machining in Waterloo.

His specialties include Plastic and Rubber Injection Moulding, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing principles. He has extensive knowledge in machining strategies, design for manufacturing, new product development, and production launches. The individual is highly skilled in failure mode strategic planning and client focus, which has contributed significantly to his success.

In 2019, he began taking Adult learning courses at Conestoga College and is looking forward to teaching in the winter programs of 2020. He is committed to continuous learning and development and strives to share his knowledge and expertise with others.
